David Micklewright: Managing Partner
David has spent 25 years building and working with brands of all sizes as founder and manager of several different branding and marketing agencies. His background is creative, his career started as an art director after graduating from Central St Martins School of Art in London.

He co-founded the BIG (Brand Integration Group) at Ogilvy in the mid 90’s (now part of WPP Brand Union). A few years later D’Arcy, now Publicis, asked him to develop an equivalent group. So the BOS (Brand Optimization Systems) group was created. These groups were run on the simple premise of delivering strong brand centric creative solutions for global clients’ brands. Often the focus for the teams was internal brand communications as part of what was often a global marketing campaign for the master brand. David’s client list has included IBM, Amex, Ford, GM, Jaguar, Kodak, Sheraton Hotels, Zurich, and Sprint, to name a few.

Now, it is time to focus on a small transatlantic branding and advertising group with a few other seasoned professionals, BrandRefinery.
